Digital Printing

Digital printing is a traditional, labor intensive and highly durable form of printing.  Because individual screens are needed for every color in a design, short runs of multi-color designs can be costly.  In addition, it takes a special ability to separate artwork into those colors and then reproduce art using half-tones.  (You’re in luck…we have that ability!)

Direct-to-Film (DTF) is a digital technique that offers more affordability for smaller runs of multi-color designs.  Because they are digitally generated the detail and color depth is usually higher and more accurate.

Using proper care, screen printed garments will hold up to harsh and repeated washings.  Often times the shirt itself will give out before the print does.  DTF is also a durable print technique, however under  harsh washing conditions and the heat of dryers, DTF prints can begin to fade.

The ideal use for DTF is for multi-color projects with limited quantities.  Or, if you need a photo-realistic image with vibrant and accurate colors, DTF may also be the best option.
